  • Clinical trials: Evidence-based studies on Ayurvedic formulations and treatment modalities for chronic and lifestyle-related diseases.
  • Public health integration: Strategies for integrating Ayurvedic principles into national health programs and public healthcare systems.

Track 2: Tribal Healing: Ethnomedicine & Community Health

This new track is dedicated to the unique knowledge systems of indigenous communities and their contribution to global health.

  • Documentation of traditional tribal knowledge: Methods for the scientific and ethical documentation of indigenous healing practices and botanical knowledge.
  • Ethnomedicinal studies: The scientific study of medicinal plants and therapeutic practices used by tribal communities.
  • Community health initiatives: Research on the role of traditional tribal healers and their practices in addressing local health needs.

Track 3: Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry & Drug Discovery

This track explores the intersection of traditional botanical knowledge with modern pharmaceutical science.

  • Pharmacognosy of natural products: Authentication of raw materials, extraction, isolation, and quality control of medicinal plants used in both Ayurvedic and Tribal healing.
  • Phytochemical analysis: Isolation, characterization, and pharmacological evaluation of bioactive compounds from botanicals.
  • Modern drug discovery: Utilizing advanced tools like Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and AI/ML to screen and develop new therapeutic leads from both Ayurvedic and tribal raw materials.

Track 4: Innovations in AYUSH Drug Development / Drug Discovery- AYUSH Sector / Component.

This track focuses on the development and evaluation of modern formulations from natural sources.

  • Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS): Development of innovative delivery systems for phytopharmaceuticals and Ayurvedic active compounds.
  • Quality assurance: Analytical method development and quality control protocols for standardization of phytopharmaceuticals and herbal formulations.
  • Formulation science: Modern approaches to preparing stable and effective herbal and herbo-mineral products.

Track 5: Sustainable Resource Management & Conservation

This track focuses on the sustainable and ethical aspects of sourcing and preserving medicinal plants from their natural habitats.

  • Sustainable cultivation & harvesting: Best practices for the cultivation and harvesting of medicinal plants to ensure long-term resource availability.
  • Conservation: Strategies for the conservation of endangered and valuable indigenous plant species found in tribal regions.
  • Intellectual property rights: Ethical and legal frameworks for protecting traditional tribal knowledge and biodiversity.

Track 6: Principles of AYUSH in Public Health

Focus on Pulmonary Care This track investigates the strategic deployment of AYUSH principles to address widespread respiratory challenges at the community and policy levels.

  • Public Health Policy: Policy frameworks and implementation strategies for integrating AYUSH systems into government programs focused on air pollution-related respiratory illness and chronic lung conditions.
  • Preventive Health: Role of Yoga, Pranayama, and Naturopathy in enhancing lung capacity and preventing respiratory infections.
  • Health Economics: Studies on the cost-effectiveness of AYUSH interventions in managing common and chronic respiratory diseases.

Track 7: Role of Ayurveda Industry

This track examines the industrial and commercial aspects of translating ancient wisdom into standardized, scalable products for respiratory wellness.

  • Market & Commercialization: Market analysis, commercialization strategies, and regulatory pathways for Ayurvedic and herbal respiratory products (e.g., immunity boosters, cough syrups, inhalants).
  • Standardization: Industrial-scale standardization and quality assurance processes for raw materials and finished respiratory formulations.
  • Global Trade: Export opportunities, international marketing, and legal compliance for AYUSH respiratory medicines in global markets.
